Our foundation partners with the Dolly Parton Imagination Library to provide a book per month up to the child’s 5th birthday! Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is dedicated to inspiring a love of reading by gifting books free of charge to children from birth to age five, through funding by local community partners like Monroe Public Schools Foundation.

Just $50 provides an age appropriate book a month for a child from birth to 5 for a year! $300 provides 60 books for a child from birth to age 5 for the entire 5 years! 

This year, our MPSF Board has generously agreed to provide a match up to $3,000! This means that your donation is doubled and so is your impact!

Over 655 children in our Monroe School District have benefited from this important program. Having kids kindergarten ready at the start of school benefits ALL MSD students and being a part of the Early Literacy Initiative can help make a difference in the life and learning of a child.
